Eduardo and his team are impeccable in the food presentation, service and food preparation! At the last minute I decided to have a BIG birthday celebration at my rural home south of Santa Fe...in less than three weeks, Eduardo did EVERYTHING , and provided the perfect tent for a chilly , windy evening...!...everyone commented about how lovely his team was...and the food was exceptional...and the service so unobtrusive !! Best of all...the African drummers captivated the gathering, and I had a wonderful dance with Eduardo!!! Enjoy!

Eduardo and his husband, Joaquin were the perfect choice for our rustic (read: in the middle of nowhere) wedding in Truchas. We wanted our wedding to be a grander version of the house parties that we typically throw and CNCC made that vision possible. They were both so attentive, easy to work with and loved food as much as my husband and I do. When another caterer told me that family style service was more expensive because of the additional dishes, CNCC didn't blink. I knew right away from the warmth in Eduardo's tone that I was making the right decision and could give him my stress about making sure that the food for our big day was perfect. I'm hoping to not have to do it ever again, but if I did, I'd absolutely make sure that CNCC was there for it. Thank you Casa Nova!!

For some strange reason my previous review got deleted so I am re-posting! My fiancé Stephen and I always knew we wanted to get married in New Mexico. Though we both have lived in California for most of our lives, he was raised in New Mexico. We wanted to give our wedding guests a chance to get away for a weekend and explore the beautiful NM scenery. Stephen's number one priority was to have delicious New Mexican/Mexican food. We both enjoy eating... our shared meals with family, friends, and one another have been a definitive part of our relationship and love for one another. It was only fitting that our wedding would be a chance to share a delicious meal with our close community. After some internet research, I came upon Marja Catering in Santa Fe. We visited her kitchen and instantly knew that she was our woman! She offered us tastings of carnitas and fresh tortillas as we all talked about our favorite places to eat in San Francisco where we had all lived for a few years. We were sold. Marja's food did not disappoint. We had a simple buffet of carnitas, beans, tortillas, fresh salsas, and some roasted shisito peppers that Marja happened to find at the farmers' market that morning. The food was local, fresh, tasty, and almost all our guests - as well as my fiancé and I - went back for seconds. Everyone feasted. Instead of a cake, we opted to serve sundaes and popsicles. These were both a hit. The sundaes were decadent and the popsicles were a nice way for our guests to cool down since the weather was warmer than we expected. For our wedding favors, Marja prepared tasty New Mexican biscochitos and I printed and laminated the recipe for the cookies so our guests could make them at home. Marja's staff was friendly and so helpful. And Marja was just a joy to work with - responsive to emails and calls, open to new ideas, and receptive to our budgetary (and culinary!) needs. We only wish Marja had a restaurant so we could enjoy her food again! The food was indeed one of the highlights of our wedding day.

Simply my favorite caterer in town. She will work with you on the menu of your dreams and puts on amazing parties. Marja has amazing culinary talents, a fantastic eye for detail, and gracious. And Marja uses locally grown food whenever possible, her style is colorful, fun, stylish and sophisticated. Marja's entourage is skilled, talented, capable and kind; they want nothing more than for you to have the time of your life. But don't take my word, check her out!
